Dually Noted LLC is a music instruction business based in the heart of Guilford County, North Carolina. Founded by a dynamic Mother-Daughter duo, we specialize in teaching piano, voice, ukulele, and guitar to students age 2-102. Our passion for music and dedication to our students set us apart in the community. Our teaching philosophy is centered around fostering a love for music while providing a solid foundation in technique, theory, and performance skills. We believe that music should be both enjoyable and educational, and strive to create a nurturing and supportive environment for our students to thrive in. We have honed our skills through years of dedicated practice, performances and music education. This firsthand experience allows us to connect with students on a deeper level, understanding the challenges and joys that come with learning and mastering an instrument.
Voice Lessons
$30 per half hour lesson
$60 per hour lesson
During voice lessons, you will work with your instructor on various vocal exercises and techniques. We will focus on diaphragmatic breathing, posture, vocal range, pitch accuracy, tone quality, vocal agility, and projection. You will also learn how to properly warm up your voice and how to take care of your vocal health.
Guitar and Ukulele Lessons
$30 per half hour lesson
$60 per hour lesson
Our Guitar and Ukulele Lessons teach students the basics of guitar and ukulele playing from learning how to hold the instrument correctly, strumming techniques and basic chords to reading tablature, understanding fundamental music theory, and playing their favorite songs.
Piano Lessons

Our piano lessons are designed to introduce students to playing the piano in a fun and engaging way. Lessons, typically tailored to suit the age and skill of students, will teach how to read sheet music, improvise, play simple to advanced songs, and understand music theory concepts

Michelle Barribeau

Hi Everyone! My name is Michelle Barribeau. I have a Bachelors in Music Education with applied Piano and Voice from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI.
My Masters is in Curriculum and Instruction from National-Louis University in Chicago. I have 12 graduate credits in Composition and Improvisation, Body Mapping, Elementary Methods, including Orff and Kodaly, Guitar Methods and more. I have 22 years teaching experience (K-12) in the WI public schools and have been teaching privately here in NC for the last 4 years. I have taught ages 2-72 and believe no one is to young or old to start learning an instrument. I especially enjoy teaching students with special needs, they have a special place in my heart and I love seeing the joy on their faces when they are learning music. Teaching piano is my dream, my passion, and my happy place! Students say that I'm fun but at the same time teach them as if they will continue music in college. They say that I care about them and their music journey...and yes they are right! I can't imagine doing anything else!!

Hey Friends! My name is Charity Barribeau. I am a lifelong pianist, starting lessons at the age of 3, and I've recently embarked on a new and exciting career in teaching music! I attended the University of Wisconsin and have a background in Business Management but have always felt an undeniable passion for music! As an instructor of beginner students, I create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can explore their musical talents and develop their skills. I believe in nurturing creativity and helping students find their own musical talents while also providing a solid foundation in technique and theory. Through patient guidance and constructive feedback, I empower my students to grow and develop.
